Amazing blog! Do you have any hints for aspiring writers? I’m hoping to start my own website soon but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you recommend starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many options out there that I’m totally confused .. Any recommendations? Thank you!
Thanks for the compliment. I’m sorry that I don’t have any wise or sage advice, but I mostly write for the fun of it, so for me, the free option of a WordPress blog made sense. If you’re looking to eventually make a career out of writing, I would think that paying for a blog would be the way to go. One option: you can start off with a free WordPress blog and then they will allow you to convert your blog to a paid option at any time, assuming the website address isn’t taken. For instance, when I log on to my blog’s dashboard, it tells me that I can have briankhines.com for a certain amount of money a month/year (I’m not entirely sure the cost). If writing ever became a full time, paying gig, I would definitely go that route. Hope that helps.
Reds fan & a writer! A quite exceptional writer at that! Impressive!
Thanks so much, that is very kind of you to say. And I can’t wait for the season to start. A great baseball season always provide a great amount of inspiration. Thanks Ms Rosie and Go Reds.
